Kimberly Ceccarelli is an award winning artist specializing in oil and pastel painting. She is greatly influenced by natural light effects and color.
Kimberly grew up in Pennsylvania and drew on any piece of paper she could find. She loved creating from a young age. She pursued a nursing profession and restarted her creative journey at the same time she was concluding her nursing career. She is a self taught artist but sought further instruction from nationally known artists including Jacob Aguilar, Randall Sexton, and Bob Rohm. Kimberly is currently a member of the Dayton Society of Artists, Ohio Plein Air Society, and Dayton Plein Air Society. Her work has been juried into many exhibits including the Maria Stein Art exhibit, The Arnold Classic Art competition in Columbus, The TriArt Women's exhibit in Cincinnati, and the Middleton Art Center exhibit. Kimberly's work has been accepted into many local exhibits. Her solo shows have been in K12 Gallery and Tejas, The Centerville Art Gallery, The Miamisburg Art Gallery, and the Lofino Gallery. Kimberly has developed and organized two local exhibits featuring artists from the surrounding area. The heART Gallery held in Grandview Hospital and the Moraine Country Club art exhibit. Kimberly was also a participant on the ThinkTV Art Show in 2016. Her work is found in private and public collections throughout Ohio, Florida, Virginia, Colorado, and Pennsylvania. Her work is represented by The Sparrows Nest in Hot Springs, VA and her Art-O-Mat Blocks are in the Smithsonian Institute in Washington, D.C. AWARDS / RECOGNITION
Kimberly was awarded an ArtWrap award for her design from the Downtown Dayton Partnership as well as numerous ribbons and awards for her paintings from the Fairborn Art Association Landscape exhibits, the Maria Stein exhibit, and the Springfield Museum Members Show. Kimberly has also been awarded a stipend from the Kroger Company. |
